mail-desk

A Nativve product for accounting offices

A bookkeeper's inbox is the job. Invoices, receipts, payslips, form 101, bank statements, and client questions all arrive in the same place, mixed together, hundreds a week. Before any accounting work starts, someone has to open each message, work out what the attachment actually is, and put it where it belongs.

mail-desk does that part. It connects to the office's Gmail in read-only mode, sorts every conversation into accounting drawers, and reads the documents themselves so the bookkeeper sees issuer, amount, date, and document type without opening a single file.

What it does

Why it needs Gmail access

The documents are attachments on email, and the classification depends on who sent the message, what it says, and what the attached file contains. There is no way to sort an accounting inbox without reading it.

mail-desk requests one Google scope and nothing else:

That scope is read-only by construction. mail-desk cannot send mail, reply, forward, label, archive, or delete anything, and it never asks for permission to. The consent screen Google shows before you connect states exactly that, and it is the whole of what the product can do to a mailbox.

What happens to the data

Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, including our adherence to the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.

Disconnecting and deletion

An office can revoke access at any time from its Google account's third-party access page, which cuts mail-desk off immediately. To have everything already stored deleted, follow the data deletion instructions or write to [email protected]. Deletion is honored within 30 days.

Who it is for

Small and mid-size accounting offices in Israel, working in Hebrew, drowning in client mail. mail-desk is in pilot with a small number of offices. To ask about joining, write to [email protected].
